Artist Statement

I paint for the suspended moment when a room, a sky, or a remembered landscape becomes more felt than seen. Each work begins in observation and ends somewhere closer to atmosphere.

Current Series

Nocturne for Soft Earth

A new sequence of paintings tracing the threshold between dusk and interior light. The series draws on worn plaster walls, winter fields, and the color memory that remains after the subject has dissolved.

Developed slowly over two seasons, the works move between abstraction and place, with surfaces built in translucent passages and dry, mineral edges.

About the Artist

Painting as atmosphere, memory, and material.

Springboom is a contemporary painter whose work considers how space is held in memory: softened at the edges, altered by light, and thickened by feeling. Her practice moves between studio discipline and intuitive surface-building.

Recent works have entered private collections and exhibition programs focused on contemporary atmospheric painting and material abstraction.
