Artist Note

This painting reflects my ongoing interest in memory, passage, and the emotional presence of place. Rather than describing a specific location in a literal way, I wanted the work to hold the feeling of moving through a remembered street—where architecture, atmosphere, and human presence begin to dissolve into texture and color. The two figures suggest quiet companionship, distance, and continuity, while the surface carries the weight of time through layered paint and material intensity.
