Artist Note

This work comes from my interest in how a place can remain present in memory even after its details begin to dissolve. I was less concerned with describing architecture precisely and more drawn to the emotional residue of a scene — its silence, weight, and atmosphere. Through layered paint and softened structure, the composition moves between recognition and disappearance, allowing the surface itself to carry the feeling of stillness.
